Our Successes 2008-2009—Grant Consulting worked as the Cedar Rapids Economic Planning and Redevelopment Corporation’s (EPRC) liaison to the Iowa State Legislature He assisted securing over $ 45 M in funding for flood related and other projects for Linn County businesses, public and area human service/not-forprofit organizations. 2009—Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce: Grant Consulting developed a grass roots campaign to influence federal disaster funding streams for area businesses. 2007—As Vice President, for Accounts, Public Affairs Company, St. Paul, MN, Gary Grant helped create the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease (PFCD) in Iowa. This organization developed a campaign to inform and engage both the public and policymakers on the impact of chronic disease on the U.S. health care system. He led an effort that recruited more than 60 partners from interests as diverse as labor unions and businesses, as well as the Republican and Democratic Parties of Iowa. (The PFCD campaign was named by the Iowa Independent Blog (August 24, 2007 edition) as one of the three most influential campaigns in helping to shape the national healthcare debate.
